Harry Kaplun, an executive with 35 years of experience in finance, equipment leasing and corporate lending was most recently the President of the specialty finance businesses of Frost, a $32 billion bank based in San Antonio, TX. Harry has served in leadership positions in operations, marketing and finance with the NCR Corporation, NCR Credit, First Security Leasing and Wells Fargo Equipment Finance. He joined Frost in 2002 as president of Frost Leasing, with a goal of expanding the division and increasing products and services targeted to the bank’s commercial customers and others.

During the seventeen years he has been with Frost, he developed a full range of lease products to provide customers with a variety of equipment financing options. This diverse product line, coupled with a high level of personal service, resulted in Frost growing into one of the Top 50 bank lease companies.

Most recently he has been assigned the leadership responsibilities for the asset based lending and factoring businesses of the bank.

Harry has been an active member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association since 1985. Since 2006 he has served as Chairman of the Financial Institutions Business Council, Chairman of the Annual Financial Institutions Conference, was a member of the Industry Futures Council and just completed a second term as a member of the Board of Directors.

He holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Business Administration degrees from the University of Dayton.
