Tom Mariani is a highly accomplished financial executive with over 35 years of leadership in credit, underwriting, and equipment finance. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles at First Citizens Bank, CNH Industrial Capital, and Navistar, where he built
a reputation for strategic risk management, dealer development, and driving revenue growth while safeguarding financial stability.

Most recently, Tom served as SVP – Chief Credit Officer at First Citizens Bank, Tom leads the bank’s equipment finance credit strategy, ensuring sound underwriting practices while supporting business expansion. His expertise in balancing risk and opportunity has been instrumental in enhancing portfolio performance and strengthening relationships with vendors and dealers.

Previously, as Chief Credit Officer at CNH Industrial Capital, Tom oversaw global credit operations, leading underwriting teams across multiple industries, including transportation, agriculture, construction, and technology. His strategic credit policies helped drive sustainable growth while maintaining a strong asset quality.

Tom’s unique industry perspective is further shaped by his tenure as Vice President of Dealer Operations at Navistar, where he managed and optimized the financial performance of company-owned dealerships across North America. Leading the operation and eventual sale of 23 dealership locations, he gained firsthand insight into dealer financial structures, operational efficiencies, and margin optimization—making him an invaluable resource for equipment dealers and vendors looking to maximize profitability.
